How to Play

The river does the pushing. You do the steering.

• Steer & paddle — hold ◀ A or ▶ D. On touch screens, hold the left or right half of the river. Each stroke turns you and surges you forward — gliding lets your speed bleed off.
• Slalom gates — pass between the red and green poles to score. Chain gates to build a streak bonus. Miss one and the streak breaks.
• Rocks & logs — hitting one costs 1 hull and knocks you off line. Lose all your hull and you're swamped.
• Fast water ≫ — ride the chevrons for a speed boost and bonus points. Eddies (slow swirls near the banks) drag you back.
• Wildlife — heron, moose, bear, eagle, otter, beaver watch from the banks. Paddle close to log a sighting in your collection.
• Sections — Creek → River → Rapids → Gorge. The farther you go, the narrower the channel and the busier the water.
• Pause P · Mute M. Points you earn bank up — spend them on upgrades between runs.
